Rescue
If you are calling about hurt birds or baby birds such as Cardinals, Robins, Ducks, Geese, etc. we cannot take these birds.
Wild birds, native to Michigan, are state and federally regulated and we do
not have the authority to take these kinds of birds. Please refer to our Links page
for a list of wildlife rehabilitators that may be able to help.
Beaks and Bills
Bird Rescue saves and places hundreds of birds each year. From parrots to
finches to chickens or ducks, if it has feathers, we can handle it. We have
a strong
network of foster homes, zoos and sanctuary connections all over the U.S.,
even our very own sanctuary.
We provide a caring atmosphere with live vegetation,
large aviaries and flight pens, natural greens, foods and proper treatment
and care. We pride ourselves on our passion for these beautiful creatures.
There are many reasons someone might need to give up their bird such as
an illness, living change, allergies, transfer to a different job, unwanted
babies and more. Whatever the reason may be, we can help.
